Welcome to 2007
The years come and go, but since 1964 Union, New Jersey has the world’s record for the World’s Tallest Water Sphere. Here’s a photo of an old sign near the base of the water sphere. I believe this sign once said “Elizabethtown Gas” with a graphic outline of the water pump design used by company and also present one-third of the way up the tower before the cell phone antennas came.
